Brave creators hate lolicon and ask for you passport to use their cryptoscam, lol safety at its finest. And opera is just opera.
>>
>>948 >Brave creators hate lolicon Source??? Either way, as long as you can USE the BROWSER for looking/getting loli stuff, it does not matter. >and ask for you passport to use their cryptoscam The crypto scam is completely optional. >lol safety at its finest Yes, it's open source. >And opera is just opera. Opera used to be an independent browser 15 years ago, but nowadays it's a Chrome reskin. Brave is also a Chrome reskin, but unlike Opera, it does not send all you browsing history to the Chinese government https://spyware.neocities.org/articles/opera Anyway, I'm not shilling for Brave or anything. I personally use LibreWolf for most things, but I use Brave for invasive real world bullshit-related websites and the like and it works well enough.
Please keep the thread on its original topic

Favorite showa godzilla film?
2 posts omitted.
>>
>>874 This is the first Godzilla movie I've watched, partly because of the awesome poster and the badass villain, but the movie itself is kinda dull. The special effects really shine tho I've also watched Shin Godzilla and Godzilla Minus One which are great, but I'm still yet to watch the Showa-era movies Godzilla (1954) is turning 70 this year, so I'm waiting for its anniversary date to watch it finally, as a commemoration
>>
Probably Godzilla vs. Hedorah, or the original 1954 film. Godzilla vs. Hedorah is ridiculous and has a lot of cool art and music. The original is still great and a grim film. I also love Doctor Serizawa. It's really hard for me to pick a favorite though as they're all really fun and I have heavy nostalgia for all of them. Also, not really Godzilla but I do like the Frankenstein vs. Baragon movie. >>876 The Heisei films are pretty dull, but the special effects and great suits make them still tolerable to watch. I would probably recommend watching some Showa-era classics like the original '54 film, Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, or Destroy All Monsters.
>>
>>878 I always thought G vs Hed was kind of silly in terms of my taste in Godzilla movies. I personally like Godzilla vs Mothra (1964) and Son of Godzilla (1967) >Baragon gal!?!?!?>
>>
Out of the Showa era films the original 1954 Godzilla is the best. Tbh the Showa era kinda sucked. Maybe because the effects just haven't aged well? The first film makes up for that with its dark atmosphere and visuals.

Let's have a thread for reccomending manga. I suggest giving Kokou no Hito a read, the start is a bit weak but it's pretty good

one of my favorite manga ever finished getting translated today. Suicide Girl (スーサイド ガール, not to be confused with 自殺幇女, the two happen to have the same title when translated), a mahou shoujo(?) manga themed around suicide. i think it's really cool and ends up telling a really beautiful story about finding joy and value in life.
>>
>>879 god fucking damn it, i meant to upload more images. i'm killing myself for that.
>>
>>880 >i'm killing myself for that. Are you a suicidal girl?
>>
>>879 >>880 The art in this one is my favorite of the last...as long as I can remember. The perspective in some pages is beautiful and some character depictions are over the top in a lovely way, it's lovely.
>>
>>879 so exciting to see another suicide girl reader! thanks for reminding me to check out the last chapter that came out a few days ago.

AOT Ending 名無し 11/05/2023 (Sun) 12:51:23 No. 593 [Reply]
Ending movie just came out. What do hikaris think about it? I know alot of people hated the ending back when the manga came out, but after seeing it on anime it made perfect sense to me.
>>
>>593 snk is meh manga anyway and has a shit ending but I guess it could be worse? so this ending is fine
>>
good god, why did it take them 3 years to finish this i'll (maybe) get around to watching the end of the anime eventually...in a bit...give me 10 years, at least
>>
>>593 I stopped watching the moment that exact panel was leaked. What a fall from grace. Otherwise complex and interesting story reduced to the main character's whole motivation being retconned as simping for his step sister the entire time. Spoiler I guess in case you're seeing this in the catalog and are still watching the series.
>>
>>595 here, i just watched it. i'd read the manga years ago at this point but i'd heard the anime's ending made things better. it didn't. i think i dislike it more now. before i just found it kind of funny, but after watching it, every problem people had with just clicked, i got actively irritated watching it at points...
>>
>>628 Talking about leaked panels, I am still annoyed at the panel with a father hugging a child having been thrown out of the window as the ending.

Second episode of Hungry Princess was a lot better than the first, especially since they added more variety to the gags used. New characters seem pretty fun too, so I'm hoping the series remains more like this from here on rather than solely being about food. >>813 Glad to hear you liked it! It's definitely one of my favorites this season so I'm hoping it keeps its momentum. Saijaku Tamer was fairly slow and not a whole lot happened... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, since it does seem like the first episode was primarily setup for future episodes, but I hope it doesn't remain this way. I'm really liking Level 99 & Loop 7, probably since I have a weak spot for shows like these (Bakarina, Tearmoon, Last Boss... starting to see a pattern here). Loop 7 especially seems like it'll be a pretty comfy watch, though the cover makes it seem like it'll be a reverse harem sort of show so curious to see how that ends up.
>>
i've been kind of depressed recently, so i haven't really been in the mood to watch much anime at all... that said, i did get eventually force myself to watch the two shows i had planned for this season. so far... >Mahoako >>750 >here's hoping it's not super toned-down or anything. wow did i get blown the fuck out here, it's gone well above and beyond my expectations. now i'm super excited for alice, my favorite character, to show up. >Metallic Rouge this one also exceeded my expectations, i'm enjoying it way more than i thought i would, i'm not usually into cyberpunk stories. maybe the robot autist is carrying the anime for me. rouge is very cute. i'll be very surprised if Metallic Rouge doesn't become as popular as something like LycoReco at least, it feels like an anime that's made from the ground-up to appeal to people who don't like anime (episodic structure, heavy western/noir influence, futuristic setting, people keep comparing it to blade runner)
>>
>>820 >mahoako I love it and I love her. don't know what this other one is. gonna start it!
>>
>>820 >i'm enjoying it way more than i thought i would, i'm not usually into cyberpunk stories well now that i've dropped the show, this is kind of awkward. it's awkwardly paced, none of the characters (except rouge) are interesting to me, and it's very westaboo (not in a good way, though i'd argue there's no such thing as a "good" westaboo anime mahoako continues to deliver, though. my daughterwife was introduced and they did her justice. i really wish she wasn't aged up as often during some scenes, but seeing how she's treated in the manga, beggars can't be choosers, i guess.

As we have reached the middle of the season, it would perhaps be interesting to say my thoughts on what I'm watching. The two second cour shows have been fantastic. Well, I already liked their manga versions, but Frieren and Kusuriya no Hitorigoto have been really nice with no major complaints. MahoAko is really good. It doesn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would, and I still love the premise and the characters. Dungeon Meshi has been nice. The characters are cute, and the episodes are great. Sasaki to P-chan is nice too. I really like how it has several different plotlines happening at the same time that aren't really forced to converge. Saijaku Tamer... well, I already liked the manga adaptation, so it was a given that I'd like the anime. Some of the changes compared to what I had read worried me a bit, but the last episode was really good. It's one episode behind the other shows so the comparison is not really fair. Pon no Michi is great, despite barely having any mahjong in it. I love that genre, and it's honestly the one of the few anime this season with more than one character I really loved. Loop 7 Villainess is really good... I'm glad I kept watching it. Thought I'd hate the tenka's but both brothers really grew on me, and the main character is simply sensational. Mofumofu nadenade Isekai is the only one that's up to episode 7 already. It's good, and as it stays honest to its premise (and its nicely expansive notion of animal) it's a good watch. Level 99 Villainess has one of my favorite characters this season, the Dorkness. She's great, but the rest of the show isn't bad either. The ugly 3D is a shame. Himesama Torture has consistently surprised me with how they manage to not feel repetitive. It's good; not the strongest this season, but I see no reason to drop it. Still in doubt if it's possible to get to the end of the season without getting boring, but so far so good.
